Although its nature seems peacefull it is a real danger to bird life, particually chickens and turkeys which it may completely envelope and cause them to cook in their own juices

I've given up on those damn things, I just can't seem to keep them alive.

Very peaceful shoaling fish, can grow over 10” so best kept to larger aquariums, although not usually predatory its size should be respected when introducing small fish.

*sigh*.... Every lfs I've been to hasn't even heard of these rare fish, all the assistants look at me as if I'm mad when I mention them..... I was thinking about setting up a species tank for them myself, its just a case of finding a school of them rather than just lone individuals.

I hear that they reproduce quite rapidly, especially after thanksgiving.
