may help if we knew your other fish as well so we know if it could be another type. looks like to me i could be fungicide

It could be, but a lot of eggs look alike in pics.
what all fish do you have in there?
That info would be helpful in narrowing down the possibilities.
Is that the only egg you found in the tank?

Thanks for the replies. I've been away for a couple of days so couldn't reply.

Tank Stocking:-

Neon Tetras
Dalmation Mollies
Fire Red / Blue Gouramis (all male)
Peppered Corys
Bulldog Plecos

It is the only egg i've found.

I feed a mixture of flakes, tetra prima and tetra plecomin, with the occasional live brineshrimp and cucumber etc for the plecos.

:good:

Just in case anyone asks, water stats:-

Ammonia nil
Nitrite nil
Nitrate 5ppm
PH 7.5
Temp 25 - 26C

Cheers!

Not too sure... Personally if it is an egg I think it's just a fluke, and that it won't hatch. Corys tend to scatter their eggs, as do Neon tetras, Mollies are live bearers and bulldog plecos (like most plecos) breed in a cave. The only other option could the Gouramis, but they build bubble nests.

I've just realised what this is. Its a bit out of a Tropica root tab. I feel really stupid now.

:stupid:
