I think my GH would be right at the upper range for this species, so it could potentially work. Probably a "get later" kind of fish though, since they seem to be more challenging to keep. But much more pleasant on the eyes haha

If you're looking for suitable loricariids, rubberlip plecos, or Chaetostoma formosa, like hard water. Mine was way too soft. I think they're pretty. But you need to be able to keep your temperature down to 22-23C and have some flow your tank.
