Id And Bit Of An Issue

i have no idea what these guys are....

but im starting to think i should not of bought them! they keep on nipping my others....ive only noticed they go for my male guppys flaring tail...and my newest addition, my male ballon molly, whats odd is that they only go for the ballon mollys dorsal fin!!! ive been watching them for a good half hour now and they keep doing it... ive moved them into a spare tank for the time being, im abit lost one what i should do

Gold barbs. It's unusual, I've always thought them to be quite peaceful.

gold barbs? could there be a reason they wont stop nipping the others?? i really like them and the way they shoal i dont really want to get rid of them

no offence meant but why do you want to keep them, they look kinda pale and deformed

no they do have very straight bodys....its just they wont keep still lol! i like the fact they stay together...even though this has become a problem!! where would i stand going back to my lfs?? i bought them only a few weeks ago...

im sorry but those gold barbs do look like poorly bred specimens

i doubt any amount of photo magic would change taht

lol i guess im going to have to get a good decent picture of them then! honestly they dont have bent spines or anything,m perfectly straight just the image has caught them all moving and twisting in such a way they look like they have bent spines lol,

I find that gold barbs are OK among themselves but can be a bit nippy with the other fish in the tank. They are not as bad as the tiger barbs but are nippy nonetheless.
