hey people! the fish at the pet store are kind of poor quality (cough cough petco...) but anyways got some mollies and platies at petsmart and the other fish in the tanks had ick.
the fish i got are healthy but i did notice that there are 2 SMALL white spots on the fins of my male platy. it looks smaller than ick (?) i did put meds in but i am worried about the other fish.
i don't want to take him out because i want him to be there when my female platy drops (she is huge :)) what products found in either petco or pestsmart do you use for your fish? please help, i have
a platy and a molly that are ready to drop and i want the fish to be healthy and i have a male molly that is actually breeding with the females :) . i have had a BAD experience in the past with ick so please help!!!

thanks! :fish:

I've had very good results with Kordon's Ich Attack. It is an all natural remedy in a green bottle. I was skeptical at first, but I had a zebra oto that I really did not want to lose, so I didn't use another stronger medication.

The ich was gone in a week with the proper treatment. I used the entire bottle in the end. You have to really keep up with the dosage. 3 times a day at twice the recommended dosage. It turns your water a little brown and smells something awful, but it surprisingly helped me out a lot. Just be sure to keep up the dosage and turn up the temp.
