Ick Help Please

Hiya everyone i got given a tank from a member of the family with 4 malawi fish in it, Ive filled it and now have about 64 in there. The tank is a 4ft in length, 50 cms top to bottom and 38cm from back to front. I went to a Aquarium today and told the woman about some of the fish having white spots on them she said it sounds like ick and to treat them and gave me Waterlife Treats white spot and fungus Protozin. Im hoping someone on here knows which treatment i mean as she stated its very popular choice, i cannot take no pictures at the moment But i will copy the instructions here. I Just need a bit of help on how much to put in my tank without overdosing them. they are as follow:
 
Calculate aquarium capacity: for litres -(LxWxD) in cms divide by 1000. Allow for water displaced by rocks etc.
 
There is a little cap on the lid with 3 lines each line has 1ml, 2ml, 3ml. Can anyone help me please cannot get intouch with family member.

I would advise against putting in anything until you know for sure what it is. It looks like you have a 55 gallon tank. A picture would really help us out figuring out what it could be.
