What was the temperature before you increased it to 30C?

Turn the temperature back down to 24C and get a broad spectrum medication that contains malachite green and treat the tank with that.

Do another big water change and gravel clean before treating with medication. If you can't get medication for a few days, do a 80-90% water change and gravel clean each day until you get the medication.

Make sure any buckets and hoses you use are free of chemicals and only get used on the fish tanks.

Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank.

Temp has always been 26

Would api Mela fix work I have some of that

Also will meds be ok with the adf

@Colin_T Some of the more readily available in the UK is
Waterlife Sterazine: Formaldehyde, Malachite Green, piperazine citrate, Acriflavine Hydrochloride
Waterlife Myxazin: Malachite Green and Acriflavine Hydrochloride
Interpet Anti White Spot: Malachite Green and Formaldehyde
NT Labs Anti White Spot & Fungus: Malachite Green and Formaldehyde

I have bought some waterlife protozin

That has malachite green in
Also my friend who keeps fish suggested that

Another bh tetra down this morning top of fin had gone and it was also like a yellow colour on the body at the top it’s hard to see in photo but you could see it in the water

1 cardinal has died

2 more cardinals look like they are losing colour so I suspect there will die aswell

None of those are safe for frogs.

Have the temperature on 26C.
Get the frog out because the medication will kill it.
Cross your fingers and hope for the best.

To work out the volume of water in the tank:
measure length x width x height in cm.
divide by 1000.
= volume in litres.

There are 3.785 litres in a US Gallon
There are 4.5 litres in a UK gallon

When you measure the height, measure from the top of the substrate to the top of the water level.

If you have big rocks or driftwood in the tank, remove these before measuring the height of the water level so you get a more accurate water volume.

You can use a permanent marker to draw a line on the tank at the water level and put down how many litres are in the tank at that level.

There is a calculator/ converter in the "FishForum.net Calculator" under "Useful Links" at the bottom of this page that will let you convert litres to gallons if you need it.

Remove carbon from the filter before treating with chemicals or it will adsorb the medication and stop it working. You do not need to remove the carbon if you use salt.

I don’t have anywhere to put the frogs as I’m fairly new to fish keeping and don’t have any other tanks

My friend suggested to dose at half the rate and hope for the best for the frogs

Would waterlife protozin be what I need to use

What do you think has caused all this then the white spot?

Another 2 cardinals have gone down

It looks like my tank is being wiped out one by one

Put the frog in a plastic storage container or bucket of water while you treat the tank. Do a big water change on the container each day to keep the water clean. Don't feed the frog too much while it's in the container.

The fish could be dying from white spot, a sudden rise in temperature, or lack of oxygen. However, a 4 degree C rise does not normally affect them and you have aeration so the oxygen levels should be at maximum.

If the fish have a bad case of white spot and they had it for a week or more before you popped on here, they could all die.

Waterlife Protozin should be fine and normally works quickly, but it will be a few days before the fish are out of the woods (so to speak). You could still lose fish during the next week so get the frog out and medication in now.

Ok that great thanks colin

With the frog in a big container box so you not need heaters and filters etc

If the house is cold then have the frog container off the floor and add a heater if possible, but it can get by without heating and filters if you do water changes and the water doesn't get too cold.

I’m a little bit stuck with protozin dosage rate

How much do I put in can anybody help

See post 38 to work out how much water is in the tank. Then tell us the dose rate of the Protozin.
