What i think ive got in my tank is ich. I wasnt sure as cant see any white spots but some fish are flicking and rubbing and being lethagic. Spoke to the guy down the local shop and between the two meds of white spot and disease clear i went for disease clear. I cant dose again untill friday but what everyone think. Shall i do another dose of what ive got or change over or other ideas? Cheers for any help

What does "Disease Clear" treat?

Flicking can be a symptom of a few things.

A few fish are being lethagic aswell.


Doing some research. gill flukes may be an option. I had one die out the blue a couple of days ago, I saw it resting on the bottom before i went to bed and had died the next morning. A couple of others are sort of resting and not eating as normal. cheers

The two that are being lethagic are breathing heavy and are the alphas in the the tank. Not sure if i can see any spots on them or not

Ich spots are too obvious to mistake.
 
That Disease Clear will be good if the problem is fungal or bacterial, but if it turns out to be gill flukes, or another parasitic infection, then it'll be useless. Like trying to use Rennie for a migraine.
 
If you don't see an improvement in a few days, cease treatment, change as much of the water as you can, like 95%, and start an anti-parasitic treatment.

Treated on Tuesday  night and dont see any improvement. Prob a bit worse tbh. Antiparasite treatment? any reccomendations? Ive just ordered some flukesolve that i should have tomorrow. cheers

anyone want to chime in. fish are still lethagic and many not eating now. has anyone used fluke solve as when do i treat again. thinking about stripping the whole tank down and starting again. i take it any parasites wont just leave on the fish but the filter substrate etc. appreciate any answers
