Bought a few new neon tetras, they're infested wit icy, and I realized too late.
I'm raising the temperature to 80, but I've got a panda cory in the tank, and worried it will stress him out.
What other treatments are available?
I'm so <censored> mad. This is so frustrating.

Edited by Bignose: look, if I can tell what the word was -- and in this case one letter + *'s was enough to tell what the word is -- don't do it. We don't allow any swearing at all, nor any form of faux swearing using acronyms or hiding most of it with characters. Please review the rules. Thanks.

Buy white spot medication and follow the instructions to the letter.
Do regular gravel vacs.
You've already increased the temperature, the panda should cope - it'll have to anyway, as it will need treating too.

Not much else you can do.

Don't get too mad or frustrated, it's common and treatable.

i know how you feel... the same thing happend to my neons but they had fin rot instead. I was really angry too. I got some ani-bacteria and gave them salt baths and the fin rot was gon in a few days :D

hope that your neons will be ok.

I'm worried it'll spread to my golden barbs, or my mollies, which were the first fish I got.
I'm heading to the petstore in a bit, I'm hoping they have something non-copper based, if not, I think I'll have to temporarily re-set up my shrimp in the 10 gallon.

king british original formula ws3 is great, dont worry too much its easily treated just follow the instructions of whatever you get, even tho it looks gone it can still remain. btw just incase dont use salt baths on corys.

Had to buy a little kritter carrier for the shrimp, I'm hoping they'll be okay. I have no way to heat it. I was thinking maybe some little hand warmers under it, but I'm worried it'll overheat. :/
