Helllo all i am in day 16th on my cyle witch i have post on here. only problem is my coldwater fish have come across ich. what the best way of getting rid of this would
King British WS3 White Spot Treatment be ok to uses with salts. dont want to kill any bac i have in the filter.
Thanks

The ich treatment that you list is not available here so I have no idea its effect on the bacteria. A salt and temperature regime can work well by itself but many cold water fish will not do well at 28C or higher. There is a good description, with treatment options here that should be of help.

Hi. Just to let you know, I used King British WS3 Whitespot treatment and it worked really well. The product was highly recommended by my lfs (great store).

I treated my tropical tank for 2 weeks (+36 hours after last visable spots were gone) and didnt have any problems.

As your tank is coldwater you dont have the benefit of raising the temp to 30 c. (Which speeds up the paracites "stages" and therefore gets the job done faster)

Ive read the bottle and it works for coldwater. It will just take longer

good luck and keep us informed..oh..and dont forget to take carbon out of filter while medicating (if you havnt already)

good luck :good:
