Ich Treatment Advise

im dealing with my 1st case of ich. ive tried following the pinned instructions. this is my 5th day with the heat at at least 85 degrees (cant tell how hot it really is- my thermometer stops at 84) the white spots arent getting any worse, but theyre not getting any better either. how long should the tank be at 85 before i can expect the ich to start dropping off and procede with treatment? thanks

Every case is different, keep the temp where it is, sometimes it can take two rounds of treatment so don't panic yet.
