I Was Nearlly Sick, What Caused This?

Ok - my girlfriend just told me this (not sure of the tank size etc.)

Her uncle has a tropical tank - with 6 serpeas, 6 glowlights, 5 rummynose tetras.

- Yesterday he found a glowlight dead. today he moved a plant and a glowlight came floating out. It was dead - had no fins or nothing like it had been half eaten! Now i told him to get 6 serpeas so they keep there agression to themselfs.

Anybody know what caused this?

Its hard to say what caused the death without knowing the tank size and water parameters etc.

The half eaten fish is normal, other fish will eat dead fish if they are left in the tank long enough. The glowlight may have died 1 or 2 days ago and the others will just eat it as food so this may not be any indication as to why it actually died.
