What's with that? I can't post my opinion now??

I have gotten wonderful advice on this forum on betta health and tank size etc. etc.

My only "problem" posting here is that I have only 1 betta living in a 1 gallon bowl. Alot of the time I feel like an outsider here since I don't have alot of bettas or use large tanks. Even though posters here have been polite.

BTW you haven't seen board fights till you've been on wrestling or hockey sites.

I know where you're coming from.... sometimes I feel like I'm on another planet, having only one betta and all. But I love this forum and most of the people on it.

But I have noticed recently that there seems to be a lot of store-bashing going on. I know I have a link to a petition regarding a certain store in my sig, but that is because I feel strongly about the petitions' purpose, not because I'm trying to be a 'rebel' or 'controvertionalist'.

I believe we need to find a healthy balance: we should still be able to discuss certain stores that keep their bettas in less-than-optimal conditions, but we should balance out the negativity with positive comments about stores that are doing a good job.

I agree with CFC, if you dont like it then go somewhere else, dont spend ur time moaning about it.

I like the boards and i think now i spend more time reading then i do posting, TBH anything i dont like, i just dont read, i dont read it then argue about it

I dont and never understand people who continualy moan about problems on a FISH FORUM online that they VOLUNTERILY joined.

If you dont agree with the way things are run, if you dont like other members, if you feel uncomfortable, why make these un-inportant, irrelevant posts?

And I feel that there should be room for all sorts of betta keepers here, even those with just one betta
I admire the people with just one or a few betta,to be honest. I know that their fish get top of the line care. New fishkeepers who have a Pokemon mentality will soon find themselves in over their heads and the only one who will suffer is their fish.

Anyway, sorry you ddn't get to say your piece, Allie. I had a huge post typed out for that thread as well but I wasn't quick enough Keeping with the pattern though, I'm going to lock this up now since you voiced your opinion on the subject and it needs nothing more to be said.
