I Think My Tank Has Cycled?

i reckon so, do your big 90% water change to get those nitrates down then get yourself some fishies :D

6 weeks, damn. I hope mine doesnt take that long, im hoping for 3 weeks MAX! Id go mental if i hadta wait 6 weeks.

What cycling method did you use? Add and wait or add daily?

6 weeks isn't uncommon, Ian's took that long.

I know its been a long 6 weeks! I did the Add daily method

Brought some fish at the weekend, good timing as it was mothers day hehe! I brought my mum a red fighter, 6 neons, and a frog ^_^ they are all doing fine at the moment! How many more fish do you think i can fit in there? It's a 50 litre tank. Dimensions: Length 60cm x width 30cm x height 32cm
Do i have to do a water change weekly and clean out the filter weekly as its only a tiny filter from a starter kit? Thanks

It really takes 6 weeks?

Man am I glad I have never cycled a tank...

hear of it done as quick as a week with some mature media, it's common to take 3-6 weeks i reckon.

i've never done it either

I'm doing mine at the moment and 6 days has shown some nitrates there!! I think I got a good batch of Cycle which actually worked!! :)

Angel98, what test kits are you using?...they look pretty good to me and because of my inability to tell the difference between subtle colours I think your kit would suit me!
