Hi Guys,

I have a gold severum, and it's leaning to one side. Does anyone knows whats wrong with it? If so how can I help it? Any advise will be great, please help me save him!!!

Need size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Has the fish gone pale or darkened in colour.
Does the fish look bloated.
What does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet.
What do you feed the fish.
Laying to one side can be bacterial to parasite, so check for signs of flicking and rubbing against objects, and also check the anus to see if its enlarged or red and inflamed.

The severum is in a 6x2x2 foot tank. It shares it with another severum, 3 red parrots, a silver arowana, some loaches, catfish and some blue dolphin. I do regular water changes, because my driftwood gives off a brown colour. I use stress zyme and stress coat when I do water change. The fishes get feed colourbits twice a day.

Try some veg as the diet bad to many dried foods.
Diet
Omnivore/Vegetarian
in the aquarium....
Severums have strong vegetarian tendencies, but are not fussy about what they eat. They will readily accept frozen foods (bloodworm), flake foods (HBH South American Cichlid Frenzy) or small pellets (TetraBits). They relish live black worms and will also eat vegetables such as shelled green peas and blanched lettuce. Because they have the longer intestines of a vegetarian, they should not be fed on mammalian protein such as beefheart.
