Some of my little volunteers to one of the cory tanks is getting aeneus with strange extra marks. One of the offspring has an extra cream fade behind his gill. In addition I see Virginae/Sangama females and males getting excited and joining the aeneus in the cory sexy dance. I don't know; that tank just seems to keep growing. lol But I have to lay on the floor to warch it. At 65 (next month) that takes an effort. I'm probably reaching. lol

I probably need to remove all the decore and take a picture so I can count everyone. Then I may need to thin the tank. My lps will only give me 1/3 of what they sell for as a credit. They sell common cories for 3 for $9

Aha! I just spied another little aeneus baby about 1/2 to 3/4 inch long that has survived to swim with the big boys and girls. That tank is slowly filling :fun: Sadly I will have to catch a few and trade them in. I will only get about a dollar a piece for them, I suppose, but they will need to give way soon enough.

Thing is I have definately seen other species join in the fun, so I would suppose I will get others popping up eventually. :shifty:

/she walks smugly away. hehe

Strumpet! That's up there with trollop, tart, & hussy. I thought my wife was the only one who came out with that sort of vocabulary. :)

Well, you have some names for the corys now, if you like to name your fish.

Very good. I like them. But I may just call my girls that are coming soon from Synirr that.

Stumpet, Trollop, Tart, Hussey I believe I am getting 5 girls (could be six) I need another 1 or 2 names. They are going to get a ten for a sorority. So what shall I call the tank? What's the name of the famous one outside of Reno--or is it Vegas? The one about horses or something? They will be the Madams. haha I like it more and more!

How about Floosy as well.
Hi jollysue i am 64 to, every one else on here seems to be under 20, or is it just me feeling my age

:good: Floozy it is!

No there are some "adults" on board.

Inchworm, the mod, is younger than us but has passed 20 a few years ago. :shifty:

happy annie, when she shows up, usually in the Betta forum, is in our league.

Maybe we should make a calendar!?

Well i am glad i have some company on here! At the moment I'm feeling every year of it, as my 50 Gallon leaked so the shop replaced it (only 3 months old). All that water changing and clearing out ,and then doing it all over again backwards really made all my bones ache :(

I hear that one. Been there done that.

Also liz2 is a frequent visitor on the Betta board. She's a war baby.

As my bones ache and I read another thread, about their being too many kids on the forum, I wonder to myself what its like being young again...
lol... ok So I'm 23 :p but meh! my bones ache and creak, but thats becuase I have a broken left knee (well it was about 3 years ago now, but it still locks and clicks, and hurts when its cold and wet) and due to that knee being busted my right knee is warn out now too.

So I guess I'm an honorary old forum user, as the bones arent what they were... damn hereditary arteritis too :(

 Yes they say we are living longer now, but if our bodies are too worn out to enjoy it ,what is the point .

yeah i get that too, i'm 24 but i'm buggered all ready, had a car crash 5 years ago, back's been buggered since, have to have a special chair for work, can't sit down for too long, on painkillers most days, probably be in a wheelchair by the time i'm 50 :/

such is life though i'm lucky to be here so i can't complain over a dodgy back.

oh and i like those names, Ian calls me his little strumpet sometimes when he's feeling particularly charming

Sorry jollysue we seem to have hijacked your Thread. At least your Corys are feeling young and very happy by the sound of it. :friends:

LOL @ Strumpet, the wheel chair is possibly something I too have to look forward to  as well.

Espsecially seeing that for the past 7 years I've worked in retail and was on my feet all day long, now I'm a graphic designer and on my back-side all day long, lol cant win, gonna whine about everything and anything we can.

maybe we could start the TFF damaged body society or TFFDBS :D

You are recieved as honorary adults, but it will cost you: one cory each :p

Actually,TFF is like the company picnic or the big family gathering for a wedding or funeral: All ages. We get the creaky ones that are bent over after two hours of physical activity clear to the kids running between and under everything--even the adolescent boys tormenting the barn cat.

We are a family forum. :D Although one incident nearly turned me to another cichlid forum :grr: :sly:
