I Think It Is Dropsy....

Further from my previous posting yesterday, my fish is now lying slightly nose down and his scales are sticking out a little - so it is dropsy?

His dosral fin is still up and he is still interested in food but swimming a little erratically.

If there is anything anyone can think of to do then all help is appreciated.

I couldn't deal with euthanasia so please don't suggest it.

Editr maybe not scales sticking out, but he is lying horribly on his side a bit curled....

Does the fish appear bloated? It does sound like dropsy I would cut back on feeding in case it is dropsy. Try Epsom salt, but dropsy is hard to cure in later stages. Try this and if it doesn't work then sorry but euthanasia would be the kindest option.
