I think I made a mistake with a fish I just got. I just got a African green spotted leaf fish. I had looked them up before I bought it. And it said it did well with fish it's own size or larger. About 90% of the fish I have will get as big or bigger then the leaf fish will. So it huh it would be ok. I have a semi aggressive tank. But I have only had the leaf for about 24 hrs and it killed one of my angel fish. Which is larger then it. It will also how no fear when it goes up to my gourami. Which is about 3x it's size right now. As far as I can tell it looks like it is trying to eat fish that is bigger the itself. I didn't think it would do that.
Unless you all think it is jut trying to make its own territory I'm afraid I might have to get rid of it.
Any ideas about what can be done???

how big is the tank? It is probably trying to find a territory, and if the tank is too small it can be a problem. If there are a lot of plants or decorations, things blocking it's line of vision, it will help with territorial issues. If it is posing a threat to your other fish, I'd say just return it.

Can you get a picture of it? There are two fish that the name you gave make me think of and so would like know which. Both are ambush predators though.
I'm not sure what you can do, think you may have just picked up a rather aggressive one :/ What size tank is this?

The leaf is a predator fish and needs to be kept with fish that can defend themselves.   They are pretty aggressive and will rule a semi aggressive tank.  A lot of times they will only accept live food.  They get to be around 6 inches big too.  Take him back if you can...your other fish will appreciate it.
