I tested the pH of my water

This test goes to 7.6...My water was so blue it was almost navy blue colored. lol Sounds like I have some nice hard water for some cichlids after all.

Never tested it before,never had problems.

Are you sure that the test is accurate? Some times they are old or faulty, I'd rule that out first. My water is from a well and mine tests at 8, and luckily my test goes that high...
