Here's some shots I got of my big boy this morning when he decided to "stalk" the camera.

He's 5ft but gentle as owt.
He actually comes to greet my hand when I go into his viv, he always wants out...
The only think I would say is that he can be funny about you getting him out unless you've stroked down his side to let him know it's you, then he comes up to you.

Need some free food? I have a bratty two year old having a tantrum right now. Tastes like ketchup and probably like cheerios too.

Your snake is awesome!!!!

lol, I don't think he's quite big enough for that.

If I was sure it was OK, I'd post the pic of him eating his meal last week but with it being a family forum and some people not liking the idea, I won't until I'm sure I can.

Are snakes like that hard to keep? Since I seem to be creating little man clones of my husband. I might as well start embracing things like snakes and frogs and lizards.

I have had a lizard once, but one of the smaller ones.

Depends on the snake. I can help you out on just about any snake but some I just can't help with...

:good: Well yours is lovely!

Mine is a Corn Snake. They are one of the best snakes for beginners, I'm not a beginner but I got him off my uncle for free as he needed a new home and I loved him.

You can get a lot of different colour morphs as well, most you'll pay about £30-£40 and that's for the more common morphs. For the more rare colour morphs can cost up to £100 each.

A set-up cost's between £75 and £200 depending on what you want, brand new. Mine is just a simple thing.
The viv cost £40 second hand, the Hide I got for free from the local reptile specialists as they know me pretty well, the water bowl was £10 because it's made of pure stone and the Branches were free as well as I live next to a woods :)

That's not bad at all. I may do some researching and see if it would be a good fit for us. I'll have a nice museum going soon :hyper:
