I saw little, baby Puffers yesterday!

I stopped at a "new" lfs yesterday. It was sort of on the way to my mom's school, and as I wanted to get more fish for her school tank, I decided to stop at this store. I've been wanting to go for awhile...just hadn't gotten there. I wasn't too impressed with the worker (there was something creepy about him) or the fish tanks - way too many dead fish and frogs. However, they did have little, baby Puffers (not sure what kind) and they were SO cute! They were about this -------- big! So cute! I kind of want a couple of Puffers, but we don't have room for me to set up another tank here Perhaps someday.

And in case you're wondering what I got for the school tank....a pair of Blue Guppies (that's what the lfs dude said they were, anyway), two female Platys, and a Bronze Cory and a Julii (that's how it was labeled at the store) Cory. I wanted Peppered Corys, but they didn't have any. Oh, well! My mom's students are very exicted at the prospect of having baby fish

I had Sterbais Julii and they're really cute!

Origianly had 4, (John, Paul, George and Ringo) two died (John then George) and the remaining two spent all day going up the tank... sideways.... coming back down, going up the tank... sideways.... coming back down, going up the tank... sideways.... coming back down,going up the tank... sideways.... coming back down... you get the picture!

They really seemed to enjoy each other's company.

Sadly Paul has also departed and after a few weeks I bought Ringo a friend (Barbara) but they just don't seem to get along so well as Ringo & Paul.

When they get along they are very entertaining fish. I'm thinking of another two (Linda & Yoko, perhaps?! ) in ht ehopes that they will become more active again but the LFS has only large-ish ones and I like to buy small fish and watch 'em grow.
