been in addlestone, surrey for the weekend visiting my dad , and while we were there we popped into a nearby maidenhead aquatics for a look around. ........... and wished i hadnt!!! they had loads of rummynose , which ive been looking for for ages , and they were superb quality. then we went round the corner and they had some wild discus . most of them were just averagely nice but 1 in particular was absolutely stunning. i stood there ummed and ahhed about wether or not to get it . but then at the critical moment common sense kicked in and i stopped to think that i should be getting a group of wilds and setting the tank up for them rather than putting 1a wild in with my domestics.

altho if all of them were as amazing as this 1 particular fish , i would of broke the bank for sure!!!!!!!!!

i hold my dad personally responsible for suggesting we went to take a look at the fish , as now i am obsessing about wilds!!!!

It's certainly a good MA. Superb marine display tank in the center. Shame they dont have more space for stock.

loved the huuuge yellow puffer in that marine tank, only bad thing was the big blue tankg in there had some major HITH , but given that every other fish in that tank , and indeed the whole shop , was in tip top condition , im more inclined to think maybe they took it in like that from somebody?

have not seen a blue tang in there before so you might be right.

the yellow puffer is certainly the star of the store.

Had no idea how many fish shops were in my area until I got into the hobby.

they sure did have some lovely fish. i will be sure to stop by every time i go visit my dad now , probably not for the discus , but i sure would like a nice big shoal of those rummynose .

there's also Staines (new but looking good) and Shepperton that are not too far
