I was at a local aquarium club meeting on Monday night and in the auction, I picked up some really neat fish!

I got 3 Skiffia multipunctata MALES for only a buck, a group of 6 Rivulus cylindracus "Al Casino" for $6, and 2 trios of Limia melanogaster for $5!

Rivulus are really drab killis that breed like guppies.

I'll put up some pictures when I can take them... the skiffias are chasing each other.

they are very colorful... more colorful than any picture I have seen online.

Skiffia multipunctata these are stunning fish and you'll rearly see the split dorsal fins which is totaly differet from most other species. try to get some females as they bread like rabbit's given a chance.

And the L. melanogaster loverly fish and stunning colours... have fun, they should breed quite easily.

these skiffia are wild caught. The colors are like nothing on the internet. They are bright yellow.

the gravid limias look like they have huge black bellies... the black gravid spot is a kind of black that I have never seen before...

There are some loverly colors forms.

I prefer the one's with a lot of black on the body.

also u can see my avatar is a Skiffia multipunctata

Rivulus are egg bearers not livebearers like guppies, so unless you are geared up to collect and rear the fry you won't see that many in your tank, the other fish will eat the eggs.

LOL meepster said they breed LIKE guppies, is an easy to breed.

If meepster know's their killi's then i'm sure he know that they lay eggs.

Re3aring the fry are difficualt as their tiny and you should look into getting mirco worms and other live foods if u want to rear them

yes I do know that they are egg-layers. I don't plan on breeding them any time soon. I do have some liquifry on hand just in case.
