Hiya all. Well, I am going to the fish store within a half an hour to trade fish. My arrowana has gotten too big and the fish store guy said I can exchange. It's a 20g tank but the arrowana is like 7 inches. Yes, I know, many of you will probably flame me. Please save it, I am not here to get flamed. Thanks.
I need suggestions for what fish to trade.
Anyway, here is a description of my 20g. It is heavily filtered! I have an aquaclear 50 and a biowheel filters all in this single tank. From time to time, I also have a sponge filter working too. These are rough currents.
There is no heater! I don't need one because temperatures in the room stay around 70 degrees all year. However, I can not lie that temperatures do fluctuate sometimes ...but not all the time.
I prefer fish that are easy to feed on flake foods and/or vegetables. The arrowana I had was wayyy too difficult and expensive to feed in the long run. The expenses on crickets, worms, feeder fishes, shrimp and other meaty foods add up a lot. And sometimes it refuses to eat for some unknown reason.
So does anyone know of any fishes that are tolerant with a tank with lots of filtration, is hardy, aesthetically pleasing, and are easy to keep? Thanks in advance and hurry! I'm going in like 30 minutes. lol
