Blue parrot fish? Do you know the exact species?

Post water parameters and set-up information.

YES THEY ARE PALE BLUE AND THE WATER IS TANK HAS BEEN CHANGED AND ALL WATER LEVELS ARE FINE.

DOES SAY ON INTERNET THAT PARROT FISH CHANGE COLOUR WHEN THEY ARE ANGRY OR BREEDING.

my brother had a yellow parrot fish then a couple'o months later got a youngish blue one, blue one ended up turning yellow..weird

I too have had parrot fish in the past. different coloured ones, and after a month or to they all seemed to slowly change colour and some developed black patches on them. Thats hybrids for you!....wouldnt have them again tbh.

I have 3 Orange Parrot fish at the moment and one of them has black patches on hes upper and lower fins this is called black spot and can be caused by water quality or if your parrot is being stressed by other fish bullying him which is the problem I have with one of mine as the other 2 have paired up and pick on my other one so I have listed him on ebay.

hi there

blue tropical parrot fish are actually not natural at all they are dyed fish .....its a painful procedure...welll the colour is not natural and so may start fading and diff color would appear...... there original colour ranges from light orange yellow to dark red .....all other colours are dyed colour......
