I am a happy camper now they look better everyday and they are eating now. I know you mention parasites blackangel but I didnt see not one thing wrong with them that would make me treat for parasites. But after you have tried everything else they was notining left for me to treat except parasites. And that is what I done and I am glad I did. :D

I'm happy for you, glad they are getting well, i no you was really worried, but i passed on everything I knew, just felt helpless, not always easy at times.

Well I thought I would hunt this topic up and let you all know the turn out on the two fish. I think the fish can barley see. When I feed him it has to bee where he can feel it hit on the front of his face. The small one I think is ok. But the big fish is almost blind I am sure of it now....The film is all the way gone and they both look great. But it sure messed up the big ones vision.

Or bless him, sorry, glad they both got through it though.

Some oscars get a white film over there body if they stress bad and they can turn totally white so the white film may have nothing to do with the actual disease, they may just be white because they are sick and stressing out. Have they got any other symptoms, are they scratching or have they got loss of appetite??

I think the diseases is jumping from one tank to another, I posted about my angel about two weeks ago. And now my oscar has the same thing. THey are a whte film over its eye what is causing this...

It sounds like at least to me that you May have Cross Contamination.
You wouldn't Happen to use the same Equipment to Clean all of your Tanks would you?
I.E: Gravel Vaccums, Buckets, Nets, etc. etc.?

Do you make Sure to WASH your hands before going from Tank to Tank.
I know these things MAYBE obivious to some, But sometimes it's easy too OVERLOOK the Obvious...

I've made this Mistake before and have had the same thing Happen to me.

Unless you can afford different Equipment to use on Each seperate tank, Which if your like me You probably can't.

You MUST MAKE SURE that you throughly Steralize each peice of Equipment in bettween useage in each tank.

I know it's a PAIN, But in the End it's well WORTH the Extra Effort.
