So I now have a colony of zoanthids and a pagoda cup coral in my 25 gallon nano reef tank. Since the pagoda cup is an LPS and I intend on getting more LPS corals I know I'm going to start dosing here soon.
So my question is this what is the best brand to get? What should I be getting specifically to promote growth and color? And since I know every tank is different and there may be no one answer that is correct for my tank what advice/tips/tricks would you give me before I start dosing?

What exactly are you needing to dose? Calk/alk? Something else?

Both from my own experience and talking to other reefers, the two main impacts on color have nothing to do with supplements and are:

1. Lighting. The vast majority of the time, this is what makes all the difference. An incredible-looking coral in one tank can look completely blah in another because of the lighting. More intense lighting can also encourage corals like mushrooms and zoas to "color up" while they might turn more brown in dimmer lighting, but you have to be careful with that since you can also stress a coral that is used to lower light by suddenly upping the light intensity.

2. Good water quality as suited to the particular corals - some like more nutrients in the water than others and some softies can wither a bit if the water is "too clean."

Well my lighting a good and it makes the corals a great color so I think I'm good in that respect.
As for what to dose I have no idea that's what I'm trying to figure out what do I need to add for continued growth and health from the corals?
