I Must Be Doing Something Right! :)

So, one of my platies had 14 fry last Sunday, only two have died.. when I was moving them . Anyways, it is now day 5 and they are all doing wonderful. I have all 12 of the remaining fry in a 1 gallon container inside of my fish tank. So far they look like they are doing good.. They swim around... they go to the top as soon as i take the lid off of the container.. its like they know I am going to feed them. I think I have become addicted to my fish and the fry!! I constantly catch myself sitting in front of the tank just watching them swim around! This is the first time I have had fish fry.. heck the first time I have been able to keep any fish alive for longer than a week!!

Great news! Don't make the obvious mistake and release the fry while they are still too small

I have read that somewhere..I have read that they can be released approx. 3 months? Iam going to be buying a 10 gallon tank next weekend so will be putting them in there for the time being.

I don't know the length of time you should keep them separated but you're definitely doing the right thing by getting them a different tank to start with.
