Well I have 65 watts for my 28 gallon , and today I added another 15 watts , so i now have 80 watts

Is that a gd thing to add more light? its gd for my amazon , glossostigma and baby tears

Just watch out for algae! and the growth of your plants ( the lighing period may have to be changed; shortened... )

You have roughly 3 watts per gallon, which will improve plant growth significantly.
But as Corin Castle said you may find you have more algae then previously, you
can prevent this by adding CO2 which will quicken plant growth.

ya i have co2....its 28 bubbles per min...if i see alot of algae ill just take it off....I just want my glossostigma to blossom and to start to grow and spread...so that is why I added more light and plus I had this 15 watt outfit in the closet so I mind as well use it than just let it picking up dust :good:

Glossostigma may need even stronger light if you want it to grow horizontally.
4-5 Wpg is normally recommended.

10 hrs should be fine... and a 2 hour brake at noon will help keep algae from growing... Have you thought about purchasing some algae eating fish ( you may not need them, but... )

The glosso should do fine under 3WPPG, George got a carpet at 2.2WPG on with 125lt. Its up to you and I wont go into the details as there are millions of threads about it, but remove the lighting break they dont work. If you start to get algae reduce the lighting to 8hrs.

Also make sure you've got lots of plants in there and a stable 30ppm CO2.
