I just put sand in my tank

ok i just took aout my fish and put em in another tank and i took proably 95% of the water out then put sand in then filled it back up, now the water is still a little cloudy. Should i jut keep doing 25% water changes untill its clear again?

The sand will also settle on its own. In the morning it should look a little better

ya i boiled some play sand befor i put it in

boiling it wont get rid of the fine particals.

you'll need to stir it up and syphon 90% of the water off again.

i washed our playsand for about 1 hour - letting the fine water suspended sand overflow from the bin and go down the drain.

what is left after cleaning shouldn't cloud the water (or not to a great extent).
