The orange colro on the belly means its a female. The stripes... it is most likely stressed and should color up after settleing in.
 
Cool, I thought it might have been a difference in light from the LFS and my own that made the stripes look lighter. But it has only been a day so you right she is most likely just not settled in yet. I also noticed that she and been digging in the back corners of the tank, is this just hoping a male comes around or is this part of her settling in?
 
man must remember that al lconvicts are mustly interbred and so often come out with strange markings or dull colours as a side effect of not being so pure
plus the white ones and black ones are cross bred to create what is known as a calico convict. i would say yours is just an ordinary convict.
but a very nice one at that, interesting colors :)
