Meet Candy and Candy Man.

If I can get them to breed true, I should get enough lfs credit to supply me with free fish food for a while. 😎

Lemon and Candyman have settled into their new digs. So far the pair have been gentle with each other. They share a 20 gallon long with 10 Glowlight tetras. This morning Candyman was attacking assassin snails, even after he ate his regular breakfast.

The female eyes look blown out large - if that is the case usually a runt has that configuration though sometimes a very old fish can develop enlarged eyes. Of course it could just be the contrast of the image but don't think that is the case.

Do you know anything about the history of these fishes ?

All I know is that the fish are a cockatoo morph created by the Czechs named Lemon Candy. The pair are incredibly peaceful with one another.
