I never thought i'd ever say this again but I have another guppy.
Everyone knows the awful experience I have had with guppies, but my friend has a very overstocked fish pod has about 40 guppies in it-all ages. He has been giving them away and asked me to take some. I am almost overstocked myself with 3 swordtails and 2 platies in a 64 litre but he said I could have 2 guppies in there, which he probably just said to get me to take some, so I said yes to shut him up but told him I just want 1 and nothing fancy because I just expected it to be floating at the top within a few hours like before.
He brought one over about noon, never seen one like it, it's very, very pale almost white, pink/yellow/blue tinge to his tail depending on the light and orange markings on his side like the endlers have.
I have to say-so far so good. I don't know if it's because he's came from an established tank to an established tank or because he doesn't have a big fancy tail and fins. He is very active and won't sit still lol. I wont get my hopes up just yet, i'm still expecting him to be floating upside down in the morning a bit morbid but just because that's what it used to be like. I hope it's issue free this time! I might start liking them again and maybe add another-maybe

There was no ammonia spike when I added him though which is good. I will keep an eye on the levels just in case.
