I Have These Wierd Gray Thingys In My Tank

Few days ago I found streaks of gray material in my tank. Now today the grey material is making my tank cloudy. Is this think alge and how can I get rid of it?

are you sure its not coming from a DIY co2 setup? if it is, its yeast leaking into the tank which is not a good idea..........but thats just a guess it could be a type of algae, im just thinking out loud

I dont use DIY CO2. Im sure not not comming out of my CO2 generator

Grey/white cobwebs sounds like bacteria. How long has the tank been running? A bacterial bloom, which can resemble grey or white cobwebs is quite common in the early stages of cycling a tank.

Its been runnning for 8 months. I do a 25% water change every two weeks.
