Hi to all members,
I have recently moved from S/W London (hard water area) to S/W Somerset (Soft water area) have been told that our supply comes from somewhere up on Exmoor around Porlock.
I hope to be setting up my 110L tank in the next few weeks, but it means a 40+ mile round trip to the best LFS (named after a town on the Thames).
I plan to use play-sand over substrate, with lumps of ironstone and granite rock (after boiling to clean them)from the local stream, and a lot of plants.
stocking plan is.

10 Harlequin rasboras
5 Red line rasboras
5 Mountain minnows
4 Amano shrimps

Will this work any comments welcome

No need to boil the rocks. Just soak them in hot tap water with some bleach, then rinse them until you can no longer smell the bleach. Cold water is fine for that part. If they still have a bleach smell, cover them with water and give a high dose of dechlorinator. Otherwise all seems good.
