Well according to an article I have just been reading Severums are called poor mans discus, not heard of them being called that before. Therefor I have discus

The "spare" 400 is now in the kitchen, need to move the 180 and pray it fits, the other spare is in the shed, that must be kept spare, god forbid anything happens to one of the tanks I really have no where to put fish!

Snowflake, the female is looking green but the male although dark does have lots and lots of spots, all over his body

Is the male at all more a yellow green? Do you think his color is just dark or he is still stressed?

I am keeping the lights low at the moment, they are getting more adveturous, but I am starting to think he is a notatus x green, not enough yellow on him to be a true notaus I think as you can see stripes under the spots (if you can picture what I mean). I will see when Minxy is free with her lovely camera one of the days.
