Ok so I have an Idea for my spare 6.7USG tank. I'd like to keep my Khuli's in there. In my big tank I barely see them as everything is bigger than them I think they stay hidden. I've recently had to move them to the 8USG as I put fungus treatement in the big tank which affected them. Since being in the small tank they are always active. There are 4 Black, 1 Panda and 3 Banded so 8 all together.
The footprint of the tank is 2ft long and 8 inches wide so I think they'd have enough swimming room. I plan to have a OSRAM SYLVANIA GRO-LUX 15W LIGHT TUBE (currently watching one with starter unit on ebay) and an eheim liberty hang on filter 380lph.
I'd like to grow plants in there such as java moss and I was thinking of having the juwel structured background in there too.
I've noticed my Khuli's like to burrow in gravel more than sand so I was thinkin of making sections and having gravel around the back with the plants in and a clear semi circle of sand at the front for burrowing in.
Do you think this would all be ok or will the tank not be big enough for 8 khuli's as I heard they have a very small bioload. I wouldn't keep anything else in there unless I could it would be primarily for the khulis.
So what do you think? Thanks xx
