I Had To Have All My Lovely Hair Chopped Off...

I had to get my beloved hair cut off to look smarter for job ionterviews etc.
My hippy days are now over....apart from looking about 4 stone lighter my ears get cold!
I keep putting my hand behind my head to touch it and .....sob....its not there.

Here is my hair before it walked the mile to visit 'old snippy'

Ive been an artist, a debt collector in Glasgow and a bin man.....who knows whats next?

Im still an artist though.....Im working on a KILLER painting today (while Im meant to be looking for jobs) Its of a VW camper van, my brother in law will mess himself when he see's it, he loves VW campers.....Im listening to the beach boys to help me, its amazing how music can focus your mind to paint, as long as its relevant.
When i did my 'The Godfather' painting I listened to the movie theme tune over and over while I painted it...12 hours of thet over and over would drive most people insane but for me its all about "getting in the zone" heh heh heh.

One of my friend's (now) husband also had the most gorgeous long & wavy hair, and he also had to chop it all off

I used to have long hair, and it stopped me getting a job too (i know it shouldn't, but in reality it defo does).

Anyway, i got it all chopped off and would never go back. Short hair all the way IMO. (the ladies seem to like it better too)

Dunno, I'm not so sure about that. I definitely prefer the longer hair look, but the look must suit the person who chooses to wear it

i definately agree with that, except for the preference for long hair. i like short hair more.

Im getting used to it a bit more now, and I did get a job as a bar manager starting next tuesday so maybe it was worth getting it all cut off.

You too huh? I used to stick with a place for several years just so I didn't have to cut my hair. Metal band with a crew cut isn't cool. One hot summer I eventually got sick of it. It makes mornings getting ready for work much easier.

I hear you about the cold head thing, every time I went from long hair to short I thought my head was going to freeze.

It looks good short, you'll get used to it in no time, and wonder why you didn't cut it long ago.
