you'll get used to it in no time, and wonder why you didn't cut it long ago.

I cut my waist length to office length in 1980. Felt bad for years, wasn't until 1996 I could grow it back to redundency length, then 6 months up the Amazon length, to eventual heroic length again. Then back to office length again in 1999

Even now when my hair is at it's current sadly few mm length, I still wash it a couple of times a day - old habits.

I bumped into the guy who was the driver of the bin lorry Ive worked on for the last 2 years today...

Dougie "Im sorry...I cant place you" - he nearly choked on his toastie when he realised we had worked together 2 weeks ago and spoken on the phone 2 days before...I must scrub up well.

To be fair he knew me with a beard, long hair and a high viz jacket...I did have that jesus look going on I suppose, not a road i want to go down...Jesus himself will tell you that.

I loved my bin man job, it does keep you fit....fit and stinky!

I should release an exercise dvd this xmas with loads of exercises using a wheelie bin....I could call in "Have you 'wheelie bin' to the gym?...with big mick.

i totally sympathize with your missus, mick. a couple years back, my boyfriend went from this to this in one fell swoop. even now i bother him to grow it back out again.
