I got rams!

Well i went to go get my rams yesturday. And thats what i was sold like 5 something each. I was like what kinda ram is it the blue or what. And then he said no these are keyhole. I was looking through a fish book i have and found a keyhole cichlid. I was like that's him! The only diffrence was the fins. If they are its ok. Cause i was doing research and they said there the most peaceful cichlid. And only grow to 4 inches. And there being pretty nice to my betta so yeah. Any one had baby rams that look like this? Sorry the pics are so far away the comps cam cant get closer

cause the guy told me they were rams. I started doubting once i got in the car and looked at my fish book and saw they looked similar to the pics of the keyhole cichlid

even if you are keeping them, which i'm sure you are, i would make an effort to at least call the fish store and speak with a manager...IMO there's no reason keyholes should be sold as rams - they don't even look similar! lol

you have just contradicted yourself. at first you say the guy at the pet store told you they were keyholes and then you say that he told you they were rams !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't care. If im not going to return them why bother? Its not my problem for the next person who comes and buys them. They probably wont even get any cause the tank didn't say the names of the fish inside so i had to ask the guy were the rams were.

He told me they were rams of the keyhole variety. Like keyhole rams. I was thinking to myself like i have never heard of this in my life!

for someone who literally screamed at me in PM regarding their great wealth of knowledge in keeping cichlids, you don't seem to have a ton of experience...theres thousands of links if you dont search for keyhole ram

aww look at these pics!pic Sorry i just am not the kinda person that will call a place to complain. If you wanna do it ill give you the number. Ive never had these kinda cichlids ive only had oscars convicts and parrots. Those i know about. Why are you so mean! Don't post on my threads if you going to come at me so negative.

so does anyone recomend any impaticular fish to put with them. I was thinking cherry barbs or something? whats the best looking fish to put with them?
