I got 2 rams

Okay
I finally went and got 2 rams. but ...... Now they spawned and I have no clue. I thouht this could happen but not with in 24 hrs!!!!! So far my tank spec's are fine but I was due for a water change tonight and I wasn't sure if I sould wait or what ?? They went with a pit at the very front corner of my tank. This tank is in the kitchen and we have 2 small kids. I was worried about the fish getting spooked so I taped a b-day card over the corner is this enough? Should I clean the tank I know this fish needs stable clean water. Also how many fry should I plan on ? Oh and does anyone know if Rasboros will eat eggs or fry should I pull them out? Sorry but the questions just kept flowing. It was so cool to watch them!!

congrats
the parents will protect the eggs and fry to be saf, i suggest you get a devider or somethinglike that and devide them from the rasboras as they are eggeaters,but im pretty sure the rams will protect them.
you might be able to pull off a water change but just dont syphon up the eggs
after a couple of days the eggs will hatch and the fry will eat off the rest of their eggs sack for 2-3 days.after that you can feed the fry baby brine shrimpand crushed flakes

One warning, It may take a couple of tries before the parents get the hang of it. In my rams first couple of attempts they had a hard time keeping the babies close enough to them to protect them.
