Spent the whole evening re-scaping, cleaning, wc and changed the background on my 300l tank, hubby is sitting next to the tank (which I think looks fantastic) and asked him what did he think. Very slight turn of his head sideways and "yup"

I don't speak to anyone in my house about fish anymore.

Hour long re-scapes are just a 'yeah he's cleaning the fish' type scenario.

They just don't get it. I ask my 19 month old daughter what she thinks not my husband haha.

My wife is always very interested and positive about the fish. She now has two bettas of her own !
It's my daughter who drives me nuts sometimes with her complete apathy about anything aquatic.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ...

I have the same problem ... My family thinks I am going insane ... I spend hours on my tank sometimes arranging and the rearranging it ... I talk 2 my fish and then when it's opinion time they say ... What, it's a fish tank ...


Then I get smart and post pictures on here so fellow addicts (lol) can admire or advise and the post gets views and no comments ...


But anyway ... I LOVE MY TANK !!! ... lol

Oh I talk to my fish all the time too Well the kids havnt noticed the tank either Will just have to get a camera one day and post pics on here

My husband is just the same. But he does like my bolivian rams - he said at last I've got some fish in that tank with a bit of personality. And I have caught him talking to my betta..... My son doesn't think much of fish either, but he does come in and feed them when we are away. He's picked up enough over the years to know about not overfeeding.

my missus is the same . il spend ages re-scaping only for her to say i liked it better how it was. but after a while she comes to realise the new look is better ( usually this coencides with her realising that i aint gonna change it...............for now at least )
