Green hair algae:
My fry love it! Now I find my Goldie and dwarf Koi friend love it too.
I threw a big softball or bigger size of it in the Goldie tank on the patio. Two days later it was gone.
Frankly my fry love it. They hatch or flee there and quite safely grow up there. Even eggs and fry that are an easy prey for carnivorous daddies do well in its thick midst.
But thick is the problem. It grows fast and thick filling a 30 gallon in a few months and killing any other plants. What to do with it when I must pull bunches of it out?
I have found a solution I think. Feed it to the Goldy and his/her friend the dwarf gold Koi. My Goldy is a foot big and robust. Nothing has much of a chance to get going. Besides the Goldy tore up the planted pot I put in there!
