I put the lights on in my tank 1 morning last week and saw one of my Barbs flopping round at the surface with a huge angry gash in his tail - it was almost dropping off.
Now before I found the TFF I would have had to go to Google or the LFS for advice and most often the diagnosis wasn't accurate and fishy wouldn't make it. However as a direct result of browsing this forum I hospitalised and medicated him and he lives.....he did swim round in circles for a while till his tail reattached itself but now he's fine and back with his chums....
Its a small victory but I thought it worth sharing.
