I FINALLY Got Some More Female Bettas, But...

Thanks snowy and chatterbox.

Don't worry, I will keep you guys informed of the little one's condition as time goes on. I hope her fins grow back just as pretty as the other girls.

And snowy, if you wanna rescue a fish, just buy anything from Wal-Mart, but I prefer to buy the bettas. I just know that those poor males are going to end up in vases with a plant on top or one of those stupid little 1/4 gallon containers that they have no room to turn around in. And the females are being torn to shreds by idiots who put them in tanks with aggresive fish. :grr: So far, I've rescued four females and three males from Wal-Mart. I'd love to do more, but money limits me a bit. :-(

Remember, all you need are 1 Gallon Sweet Jars to give female darlings a better lease of life than your local walmart or petsmart!.... And they are so easy to look after just do a 50% water change every 5 days.

Ben :)

I agree bunji.

I have all four of them together in a 10 gallon at the moment. I'm keeping a very close eye on them to see whether they fight or pick on each other, but so far there has been nothing but peace and tranquility. I think I may add a few caves to the tank and make it a female betta community tank...I've always wanted one of those.

Aww, what cuties! I'm hoping for their quick recovory back to full health.

Thanks guys! Don't worry, I'll take lots of pictures...you guys should know me well enough by now. :p

They all seemed to be wonderful this morning when I left for work, even the little injured one. So, I'm thinking that they will all be fine. I'm so happy and relieved. Thanks to everyone for your concern.
