I think some lower growing plants in the foreground would make it more interesting. And I like your idea of adding a few rocks, it would break things up a little and add a different "texture".
In the background everything seems to be at the same hight, I find aquariums with different levels in their plants adds this special something to make you want to look at everything more. Hope this makes sense!
