I Don't Like The Danios

If they aren't the same size, that could explain why they aren't schooling together. The 2in ones are a lot faster and the smaller ones tend to get left in the dust. The same applies to the longfinned variety vs. the short finned variety. The ones with longer fins aren't as fast and therefore do not school with the shorter finned danios. This is just my experience. :) I have 5 or so short finned striped danios in a 12g right now and they school really well and leave all of the other fish alone.

I dont belive in evolution, but I still think danios are okay.

Not sure I understand how a religious debate got worked in here...?

Discussing facts about how a species has evolved and adapted to a particular environment is not, IMO, up for a religious debate. Not nearly as bad as vegetarians who try to force that lifestyle on their carnivoruos fish, but still...

I haven't kept giant danios, so can't say anything about their behaviour. I have pearl danios, normal and gold zebras and some Danio kyathit - they all stick around together - but they're all a similar size.

They don't look like those. They look like leopard danios but just very big with clearer spots.
