Hi ridewake210
Sorry i didnt respond sooner i have had a few problems myself , one of my fav fish has popeye
Hopfully he is on the mend now.
Back to your question when i have a fish holding i usualy strip her of her fry at 2 weeks and pop her back in the main tank . I have a fish holding at the moment , this time round i put her in the fry tank with fry from her previous brood as the male was constantly chasing her .she has been holding now for 3 weeks so should spit any day now .I dont now how she will be when she spits but she has been fine up till now
.
when she does spit the fry my plan is to feed her up a bit and then put her back in the main tank .I will let you know how it goes
