I bought 2 of these as Nimbochromis Livingstonii but I get the feeling they are Polystigma, please let me know what you think.

Definately looks like a Polystigma to me.

Because of the spotted tail right? also Livingstonii seem to be whiter around the blotches

Also the facial spots. Livingstonii doesn't seem to have those.

Ive got the same thing except there are not brown facial spots its just white with brown patchs..

Yep, not a Livingstoni which are also often confused with Venustus.

Yup, that's most likely a Livingstonii.

The Living are brown with white and solid patchs not blotchy and the ven are green and yellow.. Im just clarifying this i have one of each.. The picture above is neither as it is uneven coloring and blotchy.
