In one of my tanks, I have 3 red scats, and when I bought them they were really small, but I was aware that they would get VERY big! Anyway, one of the males, named 'Gulper', has thrived, and grown huge! I am going to sell him in the next week or so. Thing is, they are living in a tropical tank at the moment, as the LFS worker didn't tell me they were brackish! Should I make sure that he goes to a tropical or brackish tank? They have been fine in my tank, but they are meant to be switched to brackish once they're older, aren't they?

Strickly speaking they should start off in brackish and move to full marine conditions when adult. I would get rid of all of them now to someone with either a marine or brackish tank, saves problems in the future.

you don't say where you are but if your in the UK you can use ad sections like this one-

http://www.aquarist-classifieds.co.uk/

i get good response from most fsh i advertise.

another choice would be ebay, and yes you can sell fish on there just make sure you state collection only.

it would be best to sell as the group as they are a shoaling fish you can also insist they are all housed together aswell.
